In 2025, Hubei Jinzhongde Science and Technology Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd. and the Chinese Academy of Sciences Suzhou Institute of Nanomaterials and Bionics Technology officially signed a cooperation agreement to launch the joint research and development project of "nano microporous thermal insulation materials" in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, and jointly make efforts to tackle the key problems of high-performance new materials technology.
This project focuses on key technological directions for future energy conservation, emission reduction, and efficient insulation. The goal is to develop nano porous insulation materials with ultra-low thermal conductivity, excellent structural stability, and environmental performance, which are widely applicable in fields such as building energy conservation, new energy vehicles, and aerospace.
This cooperation fully leverages the advantages of both parties: Jinzhongde will provide support in precision control of material forming equipment and continuous production processes, while Suzhou Nanotechnology Institute will be responsible for the research and development of core technologies such as nanopore structure regulation, material system design, and thermal performance characterization.
Nanoporous insulation materials, as a new generation of lightweight and efficient insulation solutions, have significant advantages such as low density, low thermal conductivity, and high temperature resistance. Once the project achieves the transformation of results, it will have significant implications for promoting the localization of functional materials in China and enhancing the independent and controllable capabilities of high-end manufacturing.
This is another important layout of Jinzhongde in the field of nanomaterials, following graphene composite films and 5G film materials, marking a solid step forward in the company's "film materials+functional materials" dual wheel drive strategy.
