In 2021, Hubei Jinzhongde Science and Technology Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd. and the Institute of Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences officially signed a cooperation agreement to jointly carry out the research and development of optical FPE film materials. At present, the project has obtained the utility model patent authorized by the China National Intellectual Property Administration with the patent number of CN222662635U, which marks that the two sides have taken a substantive step in the field of new high-performance film materials.
This cooperation focuses on the cutting-edge field of cross fusion between optoelectronics and functional film materials. With the strong basic scientific research capabilities of the Institute of Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the landing ability of Jin Zhongde's equipment technology in the thin film industry chain, we have successfully developed FPE (Fluorinated Polyether) optical thin film materials with high transmittance, high heat resistance, and low dielectric loss.
This material is widely used in high-end application scenarios such as laser windows, flexible optoelectronic devices, and precision optical coating substrates, especially in emerging fields such as 5G communication, aerospace, and advanced sensing, with broad market prospects. The film materials developed in the project not only achieve domestic substitution, but also provide key support for the miniaturization, lightweight, and high-performance of optical devices.
From project initiation, formula design, experimental verification to final mass production, it took more than a year for the R&D teams of both parties to work together and overcome multiple core technical challenges, adding another important achievement to the process of technological autonomy in the field of functional membrane materials in China.
Jin Zhongde always adheres to technological innovation as the driving force, and will continue to strengthen joint research with top research institutes in the future, accelerate the transformation and implementation of scientific research achievements, and inject surging momentum into the high-quality development of the new materials industry.
